The Motherland Monument in Everyday Life: Ukrainian Brands Donate Symbols of Resilience to the War Museum

Our partners / Museum Life / 22 June 2026

Recently, well-known Ukrainian manufacturers “Fatline”, “Textrade/Futbolka.ua”, “Maikoff”, and “Aviatsiya Halychyny” donated T-shirts featuring prints of the “Motherland Monument” to the Museum. The manufacturers whose products have enriched the Museum’s collection each have their own story. They evacuated their production facilities, sought inspiration and peace in their work, and continued creating meaningful items in shelters – things that people needed.

T-shirts featuring prints of the “Motherland Monument” are more than just a design choice. They are an image of strength, resilience, and the memory of a country at war.

By forming a collection of such items, the War Museum records both the transformation of meanings surrounding the tallest sculpture in Europe and the resilience of Ukrainians who continue to create despite uncertainty and constant shelling.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Ukrainian companies that joined this initiative and donated their products to the Museum’s collection.
