The War Museum Library Has Been Enriched with Unique Publications from Germany

International Cooperation / Conferences / 9 June 2026

A valuable gift from our German colleagues became a valuable result of the international conference “Museum Practices and Transformations in the Coverage of World War II”, held at the War Museum in May this year.

The War Museum’s research library has received 26 specialist publications from the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst. The books were donated by the museum’s director, Dr Jörg Morré, as part of the development of international museum cooperation.

The received publications include a multi-volume collection of materials from the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal, studies in military history, works on the Holocaust, museum catalogues, and recent scholarly publications devoted to understanding World War II and its consequences.

This addition will become an important resource for War Museum researchers, scholars, students, and everyone working with the themes of war, memory and historical responsibility.

We sincerely thank our colleagues at the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst, and Dr Jörg Morré personally, for their support, trust and contribution to strengthening international professional ties.
