Maksym Nelipa: multifacetedness of personality

On 30 June, at 13:00, the Main Building of the War Museum will host an event in memory of Maksym Nelipa, a Ukrainian actor and TV presenter who gave his life defending our homeland.

Maksym Nelipa was a famous showman, humourist, and television producer. From the first days of russia’s large-scale invasion, he joined the Ukrainian Defence Forces. As a senior lieutenant, he commanded a company in the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aerial vehicles, a high-tech military unit. On 12 May 2025, Maksym Nelipa was killed while performing a combat mission.

The purpose of the event is to honor the memory of the artist, professional, and patriot.

This event will be participated by:

  • Andrii Nelipa – brother of Maksym Nelipa,
  • Svitlana Stashuk – a fellow student at KVK (‘club of the cheerful and clever ones’) from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,
  • Mykhailo Krupiyevskyi – director, producer, honored artist of Ukraine,
  • Andriy Chivurin – a screenwriter, TV producer, editor of the KVK Higher League and the show ‘League of Laughter’.

The event will feature photos and video clips from Maksym’s family archive, which will give a deeper insight into his character, humour, professional energy and civic stance. We invite you to honour the memory of the Hero.
