On June 5, the ’Typhoon,’ a Special Forces unit of Unmanned Systems, celebrated its first anniversary at the War Museum.
During the event, visitors watched a documentary about the unit’s creation while the defenders discussed their motivations for joining, as well as the challenges and innovations in their training. The unit’s commander and his deputy recalled how the ’Typhoon’ was formed, how they searched for motivated fighters, and the latest solutions to destroy the enemy on the battlefield more effectively.
The unit’s partners also showcased their dedicated ’assistants’ used by the military daily: UAVs, robots, simulators, and various high-tech equipment.
The Museum also hosted a ceremony to honor the service members of the ’Typhoon’ unit. Among the awards presented to the soldiers, there was a special ’Steel Sky’ medal designed by the unit.
